Prolouge: In a land partially consumed by humans, only a few areas have not been touched by people, but in no time they will. Pokemon will fall, but only a few new species will live. No one knows this will happen but the Pokemon. The have been trying to stop what they call the "odd beings" for many years but have failed.
There is hope for in the peninsula between Saffron and Celadon City, humans cannot touch. Unfortunately, the area there is suffering from something else. Something that not even the Creation Pokemon could stop. If this place dies, surely all the Pokemon will too?
It seems that all hope was lost for the Pokemon, but one day, in a forest on the peninsula, a baby Scyther was born. His parents were the king and queen of the whole forest, and they knew something was special about their child. They then bestowed a name of a fierce warrior, Scipio, to their scythlet. Little do they know that the special feeling they got from thier child was a lot more than they thought.
When he was born a letter was sent to the royal family. Included in it was a scarf with diamond inserts. The letter said,'Put this on the warrior of light, and make sure it doesn't come off.' The couple did put it on, but never spoke to Scipio about it.
Chapter One: Beginning Your Training, Full Speed.
New characters: Alexander the Ninjask.
Scipio woke up from bed. He was three years old today. He knew what that meant. Today, Scipio would finnaly begin to train to be a warrior of his village. The only problem is that the young Scyther doesn't know who his teacher is.
"Hey mom, hey dad! Did you find me a teacher?" He asked as he went into the thrown room."Yes, my cute little Scyther. He even offered to do it for free. Just because he knew your strengths!"His mom said. "You can enter now." The doors opened, and through it walked a Ninjask with a scar on its eye."I am Alexander, I am your tutor." He said. "It is an honor to meet you sensei! I can't wait for the training!"Scipio replied excitedly.
Alexander took Scipio outside to train. "Today's training is speed." Alex said."You will have to run this course as fast as me at the end of the day." Scipio looked puzzled, "At the end of the day, but you are so fast. I would have to be running all day then." Alex looked back at him,"That is because you will. Training is tough, but worth it. "
So Scipio began running, his legs were so sore he could barely stand up! Now he wanted a new sensei. He was getting faster though, he just wasn't knowing it. He was only a bit behind Alex at the end of the day. "You have failed today Scipio, work harder."He said aggrivated. All of a sudden, a Houndoom popped through the woods. "Haahaa, nice little bugs to squash, I can't wait."The dark beast said. The beast darted at Alex full speed, but Alex did not move. Scipio cried out,"Sensei! Move! You're going to be killed."
No reaction.
Scipio couldn't take it anymore, so he dashed at the Houndoom at full speed knocking it away. It whined off, being beaten by a puny scythlet. "Sensei, even though I have saved you I have failed my test." "No Scipio, you have past with flying colors. The Houndoom was much faster than I, on your first day of training, you have become a hero already."
Chapter Two: Dawn of A New Power
New Characters: Cleopatra
Two years have past, and Scipio has mastered his Physical skills."Sensei, does this make me a warrior?" He asked.
"Not quite, you still have one more lesson of which I cannot teach."Alex replied.
"Darn, so much for being the youngest warrior."Scipio sighed out.
They walked into the tree's main hall, where a Shedinja was floating by Scipio's parents. 'I wonder why she is here?' Scipio pondered. The walked towards here, very slowly. When they reached the throne, Alex kneeled to the king and queen, and as a warrior, Scipio also had to. "Scipio, son of Arthur and Gwen, this is your new trainer, Cleopatra, also know as Alexander's wife."
Scipio nodded and the two walked off leaving Alex behind.
"Scipio, my husband has taught you well in the ways of physical fighting, but now it is time for your speacial attacks to be used, such as your Hyper Beam attack."
"I have never used that attack before Sensei, are you sure."Scipio replied.
Cleo didn't respond. They walked to a building outside of the town.
"Do you see this, this is the temple of the Earth crystal, it keeps the earth with wonderful green beauty. You see, this is what powers our Speacial attacks, that is our lesson for today, tommorow, the test."Cleo said.
'That was quick, well I better be off to bed.' Scipio thought. He heard the bushes move and looked quickly, he thought he saw a black shadow. 'Oh well.' He then ran back to his tree and went to sleep.
It was midnight now, and a black shadow came behind the bushes, it was a rouge Charmeleon with his gang of Charmanders."So this is the place where our leader lost to a little bug, how pathetic."
They went around lighting trees on fire, when finnaly Scipio woke up. He looked outside and saw the devastation and quickly ran outside.
"What move should I use to put out the fire?" He said to himself, and then he had an idea. He started to move his wings super fast to great a Razor Wind attack and blew the fire away.
'Good, now I can find the people who started this' He thought. He searched throughout the town and finally found them just in time. They were at the Temple.
"Well, if we don't have ourself the dang Scyther that fought our Houndoom leader." The Charmeleon said obnoxiously."I am gonna burn ya up!"
Flames started flying at Scipio, and he didn't know what to do. What was the move Cleo had said, Hyper Beam, maybe that is what he had to use.
"I hope you like this Mr. Badbreath." and Scipio put his scythes together and they started making an energy ball. He finnaly released them and it made a beam, sending the Charmeleon's group flying.
Cleo came running up,"Your power is amazing young Scipio, you have passed my class. The ceremony will be tommorow."
Scipio then thought to himself,'So I am going to be the youngest Knight of the forest. I hope I can live up to it.' He then sprinted home and went to sleep, dreaming of the quest he would go through.
Unfortunatly, none of his dreams were anything like his real quest would be.
Scipio had acclompished his latest dream, but what will the ceremony be like, and will they honor him for being the youngest warrior of the town. He wasn't quite sure yet of what his title would be, but he had one in mind.
The walls of the grand tree were covered with flowers, bugs, and grass types alike. Not to mention the occasional poison type. The village gathered in as the king and queens son was to be announced the youngest warior. Scipio had walked up to the grand pedestal, where his father would place his scythe on him in honor but before this his father told the crowd a story,
"A long time ago in the village of green. A warrior arose, more brave than all the rest. His quest was to meet the Great One one day. He fought many battles but died of a dark disease. His dream was never accomplished. So let this new warrior's wishes be granted, so that he may live in prosperity. With that being said, what shall your warrior name be young knight?"
Scipio looked up and gleamed,"I am Scipio, the knight of steel!"
The crowd replied,"All hail the knight of steel!"
Outside the building an army was gathering, and at its lead, the fire lord himself, Charizard. He looked at his men, Charmeleons, Magmar, Houndoom, and the occasional Monferno and said,"Men, you have fought bravely but some of you have failed to fight this village, so I pity you!"
One of the Houndoom, along with one of the Charmeleon quivered.
"But today we learn of a victory, one of brilliant, vibriant, vivid, red flames as we use our Fire Blast attack on this tree, the very tree of the Leaf Village and watch it crumble!" Saying this the huge dragon blew a huge flame at the tree.
Inside the tree panic filled the room, they were all evaquating as the fire types came in. Scipio had had enough, this fire types were going to get it. He decided to pull out a trick move he had up. He took his wings and made a gigantic gust attack, almost like a whirlwind, and sent it into the flames, then going towards the fire type pokemon, making them fly back to where they came from in agony.
Cleo and Alex ran up to him when everything had calmed down, and said to him at the same time,"You have completly mastered our techniques! We thought it would take you a while to pull that off."
Today Scipio was a proud Scyther, and for the next nine years he was, until he recieved an odd job.
New Characters: Rosa the Scyther, Niskuru the Human.
When a Knight of the Forest Kingdom had reached his teens, he would train for a year, then he would recieve the hard missions. Scipio was no different. He knew that he would recieve his first challenge today, for the previous missions were all fight a few rebels and enemies, but nothing to dangerous, except for one battle. He and his father were called to it. Many casualties had shown up, along with a few M.I.A. His father was one of the M.I.A. A buzz sounded from the royal messenger Beedros, "Sire, the queen has a mission for you."
Scipio nodded and headed for the mission hall.
Alexander was waiting for him. "Scipio, your mission, it will be a tough one. A few days ago, Prince Kit of the Butterfree area was captured by a man. You are to travel to the odd one's city and locate him. Then bring him back."
Scipio almost fainted. No one who had gone to that city has ever gotten back. He wasn't sure about it. He knew if he did this though, he would be remembered forever. "Yes Master Alex. I will complete this with ease."
He left the room. He had to go wash his face in the Lake of Time.
He arrived at the Lake of Time and noticed his childhood friend Rosa. He had never noticed how beautiful she looked when she looked at the lake."Hey Rosa." he yelled.
Rosa looked over,"Hey Scipio, you got another mission, what is it this time?" Scipio told her the details.
"They are sending you to the village...I don't think it will be a good idea." Rosa sniffled out.
"It has to be done, Prince Kit hasn't even evolved to a Metapod yet, he is vunerable." was Scipio's responce.
"I guess you are right...make sure you see a reflection in the lake. You know the legend, the lake shows you in the future. If you see a reflection, you have to make it back then, right?"
Scipio nodded.
He walked up to the lake, and washed his face. He did what Rosa asked him to do. The reflection in the lake startled him though. He was no longer green and rough, but red and sleek. His skin looked different. He took a step back, and muttered,"Must be something with my eyes." Then he darted out of the forest.
As he jumped the border line between the forest and the city, Scipio became aware. This was a dangerous mission. He had heard about many of his kind being captured and contained in a "Polkabowl". He had no idea what they were, but it is most likely to be dangerous. He had wiped away that fear, for it was night, and no one was around. He remembered the vision as he was searching the town. Could the legend be true, could that be him someday.
He searched the alleys, for when Caterpie were born they were told to stay in darker areas if ever lost. When he would reach the end of an alley he would leap to the next. Before long he searched all of them. He took a big sigh and sat down near a pond. He looked up at the sky and fell asleep.
Scipio woke up, but was no longer near the pond. He looked around him. Walls made of stone surrounded the room. A glass case surrounded him. He sliced at them like crazy, but his scythes weren't strong enough to destroy it. The odd men were surrounding his container, one put a plate into the container through a small slot. It was the color of a Magnemite that Scipio had seen once. More men came around and to see. One by an odd mechanism said,"Transfer environment, on.". A bright light filled his contain and Scipio then felt a strong peircing feeling in his body and he turned pure white. He couldn't see for a minute, but when he could he heard an odd man say,"Amazing, we have discovered an evolution to a Scyther."
He looked down noticed his body was a crimson color. His scythes had turned into pincers. Lastly, the red clothe he had since was now green. He looked for a way out and looked towards a crack in the glass. He used his classic move Swords Dance and punched right at the weak spot. The case broke, and then he broke another piece of glass that lead outside. He jumped out.
When he reached the ground he noticed the Caterpie Prince, Kit. "Kit, I am here to save you. It is me, Scipio!" He jumped over and picked up Kit.
"Scipio? You have changed!" Kit replied.
Scipio didn't notice something though, there was a human watching them,"What is he doing to my stupid little Caterpie. Ryking, go destroy that Pokemon!" The human sent out a spherical object and a beam of red revealed a Rhydon. "Hehehe, new victim." the Rhydon snickered.
Scipio had to do something fast. He remembered the move that Cleo had taught him. What was it, hyper beam? That had to be it. He started forming the ball of energy once again. It felt stronger this time, the thing that he changed into has made him stronger. "Sorry, but you won't be getting any close to me. Hyper Beam!" He yelled.
The Rhydon went flying as he was hit. Scipio picked up Kit and ran towards the forest. The boy looked in amazement,"I wish I had more Pokeballs, I want to catch this thing. For now, Drake, Pincer, Fist, and Rose follow him." The boy tossed out four Pokeballs containing a Gabite, Crawdawnt, Medicham, and a Roselia. The four helped the Rhydon and they went into the forest.
Once Scipio was a good distance in the forest, he noticed that the leaves were orange. He asked Kit if he knew anything. Kit replied with,"A Beedrill named Beedros told me as he was leaving the forest. He said everything went wrong when the forest got a new king."
Scipio was amazed."I was sent here two days after your capture. How long has it been since?"
Kit replied,"Two months..."
Scipio stared down and thought,'What and the world happened here."
The two continued in the forest.
